Wow. There were several good reviews so I was excited to try this place. The food was mediocre at best. I wasn't... expecting it to rival food I experienced in Italy but to at least be as good as frozen store entrees.... sadly, it wasn't. The portions were also sad. A $12 appetizer of spinach artichoke dip was roughly 1/2 cup of dip. The chicken alfredo came without chicken. All in all i would avoid Giannelli's.read more

5 stars can be achieved with a few minor changes. SO CLOSE. My husband and I got the family style dinner for 2. Our two... picks were shrimp Alfredo and lasagna. For 7 pc of shrimp, it was an extra $6.50. The food itself tasted very flavorful but I was still hungry after wiping my plates clean with the bread. The minestrone was the best I have ever had except it had a touch too much salt. The salad was impressive and good. I like that they bring out olive oil and balsamic vinegar with bread in the beginning, however, the bread would taste SO much better if it was sourdough instead of French bread, and if it was toasted instead of cold chunks of French bread. The lasagna had amazing flavor but needed more meat. The Alfredo needed more garlic and salt. The customer service was top notch and the restaurant is IMPRESSIVE and VERY CLEAN. If the portion sizes were bigger and there were some mild adjustments to seasonings with garlic/salt, I would raise to 5 stars. I’m definitely still going to recommend to my friends and family and we will be back. Also, the iced tea is sooooo addicting for some reason! Bring cash to avoid a 4% bill fee for credit card purchases.read more

If I had to rate just the food, I would give this place 4 stars. However, when coupled with the extremely long wait for... our food, the add on prices for a salad with your dinner, each pizza topping added to your pizza, and a charge for debit card use, I found it way to spendy for the quality and service. And to top it off, our wait staff checked in with several tables around us as we all waited for our food, yet never checked on our table. I was not even offered a refill on my drink after the hour long wait. Don't think I will be going back.read more

It's pricey but it's Italian so that's what to expect. I only tried spaghetti and Alfredo. It was ok! I send my husband... when I'm having cravings. The customer service was awesome. The ladies are really nice and have great customer service skills. The establishment looked cozy and clean, although we did take out. The pizza was disappointing with not much sauce on it though :(read more

She... is friendly, takes time, to check on each plate she has prepared when I have been in there I highly recommend to everyone.Once you try Giannelli's Taste of Italy, you will be saying the same thing.. Extremely pricey for pizza. Base price is good. $3.00 per topping is a bit on the steep side. A 16 in vegetarian pizza... with 9 toppings will run you $33 for one pizza. Tasted good just steep on the pocket book.read more

Super bummed got dinner tonight and this little gem was a place that used to impresse I would order the Sicilian every... week sometimes several times a week not just that they always did amazing on other food as well! Tonight got a pizza and was very very !!! disappointing with the overall quality and taste also how it was cooked and for how expensive a large 2 topping pizza costs unfortunately after this don’t think I’ll be coming back which is a real shame used to be a great all around restaurant but definitely something has happened not for the best… I wish they would have made it rightread more

Definitely very very disappointed!!! We just ordered a large pizza and I wouldn’t even feed it to a homeless person! We... paid $25 for a large pizza with just two toppings and for what we got , definitely not even worth the price. The pizza had absolutely no flavor at all, not in the dough the sauce or even the olives and mushrooms we added. Pizza was not golden brown to cook, it was very white still like it wasn’t cooked long enough. My husband and I used to go here a while ago before their accident and it was always good. Tonight I was sold when I saw a picture of a pizza they have made but I’m not sure what’s going on. Maybe they got a new cook I don’t know but I would definitely not order again at all. If the pizza had flavor then it wouldn’t have been that bad but with no flavor and not cooked probably was a big disappointment and ruined dinner. Definitely won’t be coming back and do not recommend and honestly a 7/11 pizza is 100 times better than what we got.read more

Great customer service. Food was OK, highlights were the house Salad Dressing. Their coffee is not great, they used... an instant powder for my decaf, not exciting, although it did come served with a cute cookie. Nice choices for creamers though. Nice offering of pasta dishes, including multiple choices for spaghetti sauces which I appreciated. Hubby had the Stromboli which he said was OK. Presentation lacked in that my plate was plastic as were the bread basket and the table cloth under the glass top. Oddly, my hubby got a regular ceramic plate. An unimpressive battery candle on the table lacked atmosphere. It was cold and drafty, ceiling fans were on. No masks were warn by any staff at any time. No disinfecting of the front counter between to go customers, we watched many come and go. Music playing were old standards which actually was one of the nicer aspects of the dining feel. You can find parking behind the restaurant as well as on street. Food was hot and tasty and they grated fresh parmesan cheese on our food as much as we desired. A nice touch were the bite size bread pieces with oil and balsamic and some nice spices. Spaghetti came with green beans on the side which were actually really fresh and nicely prepared.read more

First time trying Giannelli’s. I ordered a pizza and a sandwich. I really like the crust and appreciate it was cut... traditionally. Overall, no complaints on the food - flavors were all well balanced. Server was nice and the restaurant had a cozy feel. I saw some bad reviews but can not say my experience even remotely matches their opinion. As a small local business, I’d be happy to order again and give them support!read more

We took my sister there last night for her birthday. The service was good and very friendly. The food was outstanding.... I have to recommend the chicken soup, it was clearly made in-house and was delicious. We all enjoyed our meals and 10/10 agreed we'd go there again. Highly recommend!read more

I see now why the place was empty.The atmosphere and Front of House staff make an incredible first impression.... Unfortunately that's where the pros end. The breads are store bought, the sauces are obviously canned, and the pasta is not home made. The pizza was sub-par, like it was made by someone who doesn't know how to make a pizza.The setting, decor, and cleanliness provide a perfect set up for a fantastic restaurant, but the waitresses and bussers are the ones doing all the heavy lifting.read more

I was a little hesitant at first because of the location. The staff was very nice. If you like the sauces to be on the... sweet side, this is the place for you. I personally like my Italian sauce more on the herbal flavor than sweet. But prices were fair.read more

Today was a very special day for my son and I as we were on a mom and son date. 💙 He loves Italian and we... haven't really found a local spot that makes us wanna chirp until here! We were met by the kindest ❤ server who not only was so sweet, but very on point with our needs. The wine was delicious, but the warm bread joined with it was just what we needed while awaiting our food. The owner, such a friendly and caring woman, came out to ask about our food and made time for general conversation! We loved it here ans will definitely be back! Best chicken fettuccine alfredo, hands down!read more
